What the law requires
Withdrawing must be as easy as ordering.
OUG 18/2026 transposes Directive (EU) 2023/2673 in Romania and applies to every shop selling online to consumers there. Our form covers all four requirements.

Which platforms does it work on?
Any site that accepts HTML code on a page: Gomag, Shopify, WooCommerce, MerchantPro, PrestaShop and others. The form loads in a frame (iframe) on your shop’s page.

What does the customer get?
Right after confirming, an email with the request number, its content, the date and time, plus the next steps (return address and deadlines). Your shop gets a copy.
What language is the form in?
Romanian by default: the law protects consumers in Romania, so the form and the confirmation email your customers receive are in Romanian, and the link on your shop keeps the exact text the law requires. The demo on this page is in English so you can try it. If you also sell to customers abroad, add ?lang=en to the form address for an English version; the email you receive about each request stays in Romanian.
What data do you collect, and where is it stored?
Only what the customer fills in: name, email, order number and, optionally, products, reason, IBAN and notes. The data is stored in the European Union. A data processing agreement applies to every shop.
Does the form guarantee compliance?
The form is built to the requirements of OUG 18/2026: a visible link, two steps, confirmation with date and time. Your shop is still responsible for displaying it visibly and handling the requests. We do not provide legal advice.
How much does it cost?
The free plan includes everything the law requires, with a “Provided by Retragere.ro” notice below the form. The Pro plan removes the notice and adds the Gomag integration.
